Kohi Scrolls: Our Sister's Room

Our eldest sister began tinkering with candle-making about two decades ago, back when beeswax could only be sourced from shops like Ilog ni Maria. I remember her room and the green shelf she painted herself: slots were filled with books spanning various genres and candles bearing deep colors in all sorts of shapes. Some were from the Museum Shop, she said. The candles seemed right at home with her collection of dried herbs, incense, and smudges of choice. Today, we no longer need to seek far and wide for supplies, and what was once niche is easily within reach.

All our candles go through the OG candle lover’s nose. One sniff and she could tell us the exact notes, even if she only knew about it because of a line from a book she read once—for how else would we know the scent of beach grass? We just know that if she adores our scents, so will you

Scent notes:

The cold throw of Kohi Scrolls is intense, and much like the rest of our offerings, the hot throw is tamer and smells a bit different. Cold, only the top notes are discernable, and you will most likely smell hinoki, which to me is a strong and spicy wood. Lit, some smell coffee while others smell tea; we wonder what memories you'll conjure upon lighting.
