I wanted the scent of soaring, light and all ethereal. But no—perhaps this is the scent of willful falling. Milk trickling, or something like it, coasting along the peaks of whipped cream, steamed rice, watered-down formula milk, before landing on softer musk, floral tones, and finally, a sterilized bottle. I know this scent, was it not from long ago?
