Liken it to the moments before daybreak: the scent sits in the misty in-between, where the morning light wrestles against the dim skies. Creamy sandalwood shavings branch to sensual, leather-like tones, with hints of green spice lending the scent some warmth. Carved when little went our way and the only choice was to let go, Santal Surrender is a subtle scent made for our slow days.

Wood fairy-y

Such a pleasant, light take on sandalwood! It's dry woody for the first 20 minutes then the pink peppercorn comes out together with neroli? Something that smells like baby cologne mixed with dry dry tea leaves.

Only giving 4/5 because I wish it would last longer on me or at least my clothes.

I gifted this to a Gen Z guy friend thinking it’s a “newbie friendly masculine scent”. I do not know how to describe scents, but IS really does “evoke a feeling” rather than make you think of the fragrance notes. The friend mentioned to me that he really loves the scent because it makes him feel pogi and fresh.

gorgeous, intoxicating scent

I've recently been on a mission to find the perfect sandalwood and somehow despite my trying every fancy designer and niche scent out there I keep coming back to Imperfect Scent's Santal Surrender. This scent is woody, spicy, sexy, mysterious. It smells like the way an embrace feels, the kind that lingers. I love wearing this at night, to go to sleep.

smells good on the hubby

This removed all the things I didnt like about LL S33. The too strong leather and woody scent that smelled like dirty cowboy. It's a clean masculine woody scent that's great for evenings or colder weather. Will bring this and the JuJu version in Europe. This sandalwood I at least can wear. Not great on me but pretty ok
