Compounded at home by Imperfect Scents. We have slowly, carefully selected words to describe and name the scent. Our interpretation may be different from yours, and that is where the beauty of scent culture lies.

The residue after spraying is normal, but this may prove to be more noticeable during hotter and more humid days.

Please give the scent some days of rest before spraying it for the first time.

Packaging and Shipping

We schedule pick-ups once or twice a week. Chosen courier can take 3 to 14 days from date of pick-up.


• There won't be a replacement of items once the order has been submitted. Kindly double-check before ordering.
• There won't be a change of scents or variants once an order has been submitted.
• We will ship at least once a week.

Odd one out in my scent collection, probably better for adventurous noses. Uji Fog was not love at first sniff. I got pure laundry detergent and not much else. Letting it settle brings out the matcha-ness more. I have a feeling lovers of fig or coconut fragrances would like Uji Fog, it has that same creamy earthiness, although this one is very clean-leaning. Not sickly syrupy sweet. Daytime, hot weather appropriate. Unisex. I definitely get whiffs of what they meant in that description: A full clothesline dripping with freshly washed linens. A teahouse in the woods. It could be someone's signature scent. Average longevity and subtle projection. This needs reapplying throughout the day.

honestly thought this would be a mostly vegetal scent but the dry down is surprisingly creamy without being too gourmand.

revisited uji fog and wow first spray impression is very different with the drydown. i really love the drydown as the scent transforms. it settles more into a warm, comforting linen scent. didnt know matcha + linen will make a good combo. at first spray its really fresh and atmospheric.

Very atmospheric!

Uji Fog's earthiness is more immediately noticeable than Matcha's, and the dry down smells like laundry bar soap. Personally this smells to me more like a "room scent" and less like a "person scent" because of its cypressy, mossy vibe.
