Props on the accuracy of the top notes - paper, wood shaving, smoke. Not a fan of the musk on the dry down however. Not comparable to Diptyque L’eau Papier as I was hoping.

Clean, serene, and comforting

Cool and airy musk at the first spray with hints of floral. It then turns kind of sweet woody? Then smokey/woody like dried leaves or dried tea

Projection is intimate and you can overspray without offending anyone. Can spray on clothing too - surprisingly the musk on clothes is pretty strong. I can smell the black tea as well. I layer this with Imperfect Scent's Mint Balm sometimes. And like Mint Balm, it's something I can wear daily or to errands or to work; I can wear it to bed too. It's just clean, serene, and comforting.

Smells like old paper

Initial spray smells very green, like a freshly-torn leaf. Washi sort of borders on a masculine-smelling initial spray, but quickly mellows and becomes creamier, smelling like cracking old paper from old books. Also smells peppery on the dry down.
